Valley Students Being Asked to Create Projects about Growing Your Brain By Shanna Francis Ogden Valley News On April 16, neurologist Dr. Katz and his assistant Mr. Chris Martinez visited 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at Valley Elementary to announce the second annual essay and art contest that Dr. Katz is hosting. Dr. Katz is asking students to write or create an art project that illustrates why you should grow, and not destroy your brain, and ways in which you can do so. Students who submit winning projects will receive microscopes, handheld computers, and “X” boxes. Students are being asked to share why they feel that nobody should drink or use drugs.
