LAYTON Layton City Recreation Department, Humana Hospital Davis North, and the American Red Cross are sponsorg ing a certification class and basic first aid class for both boys and girls. To register for the g class, which begins the first week of September, you must be 12 Clearfield This will be a great aid for a Boy Scout who wants to pass off his First Aid Merit Badge with a counselor. If Scout troops are interested, patrols will be organized in groups of five for classroom ac- or older. The ages for the first aid class are 11 to 14 years old. This class begins the first week of August and starts again in September. Each class will cost $5. Enrollment is limited as class sizes are held to a maximum of 15 students. Youths are encouraged to register early for the classes. Certified instructors will teach the classes, according to the n Recreation Department. The subjects to be studied in g the class include: growth and development of iMvf tivities. The classes will be held every Wednesday for four weeks.
