Sweet Harmony, will both be performing at the Concert in the Park series on Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Layton Heritage Museum, 403 Wasatch Drive. Lyn is well known in the area for her country western music. For the past two years, she has performed with her own Y sfc x ' & t Cn - , m ' I Kv f , i band, Country Diamond. She took second place and the People's Choice Award in two Golden Spike talent competitions, and was first runner up in the Utah State Wrangler Showdown Competition held in i ' rrjjytrftWri Tauna Lyn Vernal last July. Lyn has performed at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas. The group Sweet Harmony will perform this Sunday night members, all from the Layton and Fruit Heights area. They have performed at the Festival of Trees for the past three years and at the Dickens at the Layton Heritage Museum. The concerts are part of the summer musical program sponsored by the Layton Arts Festival. They performed at the Western Stampede at Lagoon and have performed at Davis County Fair, Clearfield Arts in the Park program and participated in the summer musical program sponsored by Layton Council. The group was formed in 1978 by Winnie Killpack and was originally six members.
