Show London. The British foreign office issued a note Friday night in reply to the representations of the Unite States government concerning the use of the American flag by British vessels. The note says the Cunard line steamer Lusitania, on her recent voyage voy-age from New York to Liverpool, flew the American flag "to save the lives of noncombatants, crew and passengers." passen-gers."
