Show PRESBYTERIAN SCHOOL NOTES The recital by Miss McCann's pupils was given, with only one change, according ac-cording to the program ahd was very satisfactory to everyone. We have installed gasoline lamps in the new rooms of the chapel-school building and these were very convenient for the recital the other night. Ferron now has a public library. It has a collection of oyer four hundred volumes and has been in operation for nearly a month. The library movement was started by the Parents class of the ward Sunday School. The class appointed appoint-ed a committee which collected books and magazines, secured housing for the library in the Relief Society hall and turned everything ovei to the public in a public meeting. At that time a constitution con-stitution was adopted and directors were elected as follows: J. H. Cook and R. H. Mix for two years, Thomas Fugate and W. H. Worthen for one year. The library is open for reading and the exchange of books on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Sat-urday evenings." |
