Show ELMO Washington's birthday was celebrated and a program was rendered. There have been several cases of la-grippe la-grippe among which were those of Geo. T. Oviatt and Miss Eliza Rasmussen. j Mr. and Mrs. William Atwocd have ! recently welcomed a baby girl at their i home. We must not forget to mention the f?ct that Erickson's also have a nother added to their family. This j time it's a girl. j Grandpn Oviatt is able to bo around j again. ; (Continued on last page) ELMO There are several cases of whooping cough in our town yet, but we have two schools running with about seventy-five children enrolled. The brothers of Francis Mortensen have come to visit and spend the coming com-ing summer with him. Some of our young people attended a dance in Victor February 22, and report having enjoyed themselves as never before. be-fore. Our Mutual is in good running order, even tietter than they have ever been before. The Relief Society is not doing much lately as the president and counselors have all been ill. i Sheldon Axelsen has discontinued school at the F. S. A. i We think it is about time Elmo was ' getting a new school house. The ward I house is not fitted for school purposes and the board, must pay rent on it. I A new school house would be welcomed by old and young. |
