The new Mrs. Goodrich is Brenda Justice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Justice, Randlett. The young couple was married in the Manti Temple Sept.5. Expressfldvertlser Dear Uncle Ron: After seven years of keeping my mom and dad, Rand and Beckie Allred and all my grandparents and great grandparents in fits of anticipation, I finally arrived at Ashley Valley Medical Center in Vernal Thursday, Sept. 5 at 12:30 p.m. Waiting in the wings with looks of wonder and open arms were Grandpa Howard and Grandma JaNiel Gardner, Grandpa Jack and Grandma Virginia Allred, great Grandpa and Grandma Donnell C. & Lena Dow and great Grandpa Henry Bill Gardner of Vernal and great Grandma Zora Gardner of Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gray, Lehi, visited Monday in Tridell at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark McKee and Mr. and Mrs. Winford Gray. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin McKee and Mr. and Mrs. DeVon McKee returned Sunday from Hawaii after attending the wedding reception in Laie. The McKees were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Shumway in Laie. They also visited Kona and Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Dorothy and Terry Young have moved back to Tridell from Ojai, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goodrich and 6 children have moved to Vernal following a fire in their home. The Goodrich home caught fire about two weeks ago in the bathroom because of a faulty hot water heater. Most of the damage was sustained in the bathroom and stairway. Davis Morrill is a patient at the Ashley Valley Medical Center where he remains in critical condition. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Bartlett attended the funeral of his sister, Berniece Bartlett Cox, 75, in Salt Lake City, Thursday. Mrs. Cox died of problems resulting from cancer. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley announce the arrival of their 44th grandchild. The proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Merkley. This is their 9th child, four boys and five girls. Clyde and Esther also have 14 great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley went to Neola Saturday to the birthday celebration of Elbert Smiths 88th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Sanders are visiting this weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Errol Merkley. They came to celebrate their granddaughter Amys birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mooseman have moved from their home in Tridell to Vernal. Bessie Roberson of Yale, Okla., has returned home after a two month visit with Roger and LaVernia Roberson.
