This past week company personnel have been busy in training sessions learning about the electronic reading device. The small computer which resembles the old style walkie talkies is designed especially for assisting personnel in reading customer power meters in the electrical industry. Two of the biggest challenges that face meter readers in obtaining correct readings are meters that are locked inside of the house or businesses and bad dogs. With the new device the meter readers can type in special information alerting them to unsafe situations or special procedures for reading a meter. representatives. One of the major recommendations of the task force will be the establishment of an intermediate court of appeals. The Court of Appeals is deemed necessary to relieve the State Supreme Court of a mushrooming docket of cases that gives it one of the highest ratios of cases handled per judge of any appellate court in the nation. |
