Robertson said John Johnson of Television of Utah, said Community someone climbed a pole near Tonys Apartments the night of Wednesday and Thursday and took four HBO decoders valued at $100, and a line tap valued at $24. A witness earlier saw a a man on a pole with short length black hair, about 0 pounds, who drove away in a white pickup truck with white tool bin. Thefts of cable television devices have been occurring on Spring Glen Road between Tuesdays and Thursdays. 1:30 p.m. Friday. Oct. 6 Police report Carbon County Sheriff's Department 0 p.m. Nov. 6. Abduction of a juvenile. The boy, Aldjandro Urrutia, 13, 444 Pillings Trailer Court, Carbonville, said he was abducted by three men when he went to take the garbage out at his residence. He said they pulled up in a vehicle and asked him for directions. He told them he did not know the place. One of the three men said he did and jumped out and grabbed him and pushed him into the car. They reportedly drove around Price for three hours, driving by the high school and city park, until he was able to 4:20-7:3- 170-18- hinges from mine shaft door. Nothing missing from the premises. 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Alleged burglary and theft reported at Arkies Cafe, Carbonville. Sgt. Dor Blackburn said Walter Chamble, 50 E. 500 South, Price, reported that a juvenile male sold him a tent for $15 which had the identification of the owner, Larry Nielson, on it. Chamble held suspect until deputies arrived. Blackburn said suspect admitted to stealing the bike he was riding. Suspect placed in Carbon County Juvenile Detention Center. 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Alleged illegal possession of alcohol by minors and possession of controlled substance (marijuana). Deputy Michael S. Martinez said he stopped speeding vehicle on Airport Road just south of airport. He cartons of beer said he saw three and several other cans in the vehicle. He said he also found pipes with apparent residue of marijuana in them. Three suspects released to custody of parents. Three of them over age 18 were ticketed and released. Suspects over age 18 are Thomas Galand Wiley, 18, 850 N. 1000 East, Price; Andrew Gilbert Sandoval, 18, Price; Peter Williams, 18, Price. ' 7:59 p.m. Monday. Report of possible burglary occurring Sunday night. Audrey P.O. Box 643, Wellington, Houston, discovered someone entered trailer to Judy Bender, Vernal. belonging Trailer, located at 2054 E. Main, Wellington, is a rental unit. Someone had pried kitchen window on north side open. Screen had been kicked in, curtains were on floor. Nothing missing because trailer was empty. 1:51 a.m. Saturday. Arrest for alleged driving under the influence of alcohol. Richard James Farmer, 49, Box 1366, Huntington, was first observed driving a 1981 black pickup truck southbound on Carbon Avenue at 350 South. He was 0 and stopped at intersection of Mountain Bell Road. Suspect was U-1- arrested but allegedly refused breathalyzer test. Price City Police Department 10:45 p.m. Oct. 3. Report of Terry Glen Thayn, Wellington, arrested for driving on revocation. 1:40 a.m. Oct. 5. Report of DUI. Marion K. Golding, Wellington, transported to Carbon County Jail and refused breathalizer test. 9:11 a.m. Oct. 5. Report of criminal mischief. Brent Richardson reported an unknown subject had tampered with a machine owned by Valley laydown Asphalt of Spanish F ork. 9:26 a.m. Oct. 5. Report of a burglary. Beulah F. Nichols, Price, reported $600 to $850 missing from a glass jar at Corks Club. Ms. Nichols said the jar was put out in the bar to collect change to throw a party for patrons. No further information available. 11:55 a.m. Oct. 5. Report of an auto burglary. Vicky N. Butkovich, Price, reported the rear window broken out of her vehicle. 11:55 a.m. Oct. 5. Report of a burglary. Wayne K. Mortensen of Car Tunes, 17 E. Main. Missing is a turntable, three car stereos and a portable stereo. Total value of merchandise missing at $650. Nanalee Regruto reported $2.60 in gas was taken. 9:07 a.m. Sunday. Report of an auto burglary. Dan OShea reported two speakers, a tool box and 25 cassette tapes missing with a total value of $490. 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Report of a theft. Tera Prudence, 818 N. 500 East, reported $21.28 in currency and consumables missing. Entrance was made through bathroom window. Police have juvenile suspect who was referred to Juvenile Detention for burglary. Police later discovered a coffee can of marijuana seeds, undetermined amount of drugs and zig zag papers to allegedly have been obtained by the suspect at the residence. 1:20 p.m. Monday. Report of an accident Harold Jensen and Steve involving Tim IS SHORT -- ACT NOW Johnson. Jensen's vehicle received $350 damage, Johnsons vehicle received $300 damage. Johnson was cited for unsafe passing on the right. Carbon County Sheriffs Department 5:37 p.m. Thursday. Auto collision, no injuries, reported at Kenilworth Road railroad crossing. Deputy Barry Bryner said he was flagged over by Rachel Mary Ceal, 347 100 West, Helper, who said her vehicle had just been run into by car driven by Frances Oberg, Kenilworth. Bryner said Oberg drove over Kenilworth crossing, swung wide into lane of opposite traffic and struck Ceal vehicle. Damage under $400. 10:42 a.m. Sunday. Auto collision, no injuries at Main Street and 100 South intersection in Spring Glen. Lawrence Cory Seal, 28, Helper, was driving car west on 100 South and allegedly ran stop sign. Mike Rukavina, Helper, was driving car north on Main Street and was unable to avoid colliding with Seal vehicle just behind right front fender. Rukavina vehicle sustained about $200 damage. 7 p.m. Thursday. Auto rollover reported on Lower Miller Creek Road by Gordon Scott, Helper. Occupants were driver Larry Scott, Helper, and passenger Larry Sargeant, Helper. Weight of load in camper shell was unevenly distributed and caused the Jeep pickup to go sideways as it entered a curve. Driver tried to stop but left rear tire popped off rim and vehicle slid into a ditch, tipping onto its side. Driver and passenger with assistance righted the vehicle, changed the tire, and drove home. Owner reported the accident. 4 p.m. Saturday. Auto collision with minor injuries at milepost 41 in Gate Canyon, Nine Mile area in Duchesne County. Drivers were Robert David Sheedy, 37, Roosevelt, and Leonard Frank Feign Jr., 35, Nutter's Ranch, Nine Mile Canyon. Sheedy vehicle was northbound on Gate Canyon Road when it was hit almost head on by Feign vehicle as it came around bend in road. Sheedy stopped, but Feign was unable to stop because of heavy trailer being towed. His vehicle slammed into Sheedy vehicle. Passengers in Sheedys Ford Bronco were Mike Olsen, Chad Funk, Robbie Kettle, all of Roosevelt, and Donny DeMille, Gusher. Truck sustained $1,500 damage. Passenger in Feigns Chevrolet pickup was Dwight D. Cook, Nutters Ranch, Nine Mile Canyon. His truck was a total loss. 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Auto rollover with minor injuries five miles north of Nutters Ranch on Cottonwood Road Junction in Duchesne County. Victims were the driver, Mark Allen Harrington, 25, East Carbon, and passengers, Bill Jackson and Tim Shultzburger, both of Sunnyside. Victims were southbound on Nine Mile Road near Cottonwood Road turnoff in their 1978 Ford pickup. They went around a curve and encountered a herd of cattle in the road. Harrington applied the brakes and the rear end of truck slid left off the road and rolled at least once down an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels. Victims were transported to Castleview Hospital by Kevin Conway of state Division of Wildlife Resources. Driver suffered injuries to head, neck and thigh and was admitted to Castleview Hospital. Passengers were treated at Castleview Hospital and released. Damage to vehicle undetermined as of Tuesday. 11 a.m. Monday. Minor auto collision involving property damage at 400 East and 700 South, Price. Steven May reportedly backed out of driveway and into parked truck belonging to Raymond Sisneros. No damage to May vehicle.
