Show Budget Hearing To Be Held By Agency WEST VALLEY. A budget of approximately $94,000 is expected to be approved following a public hearing here tonight (Thursday) by West Valleys new Redevelopment Agency. The budget hearing will be held in in the evening by the City Council. Included in the $94,000 total is approximately $10,000 for a secretary who will split her time between the agency and the Community Development Department. The remainder of her salary will be paid by West Valley City. Newman recommended that any underruns that develop during the budget year be transferred to the land aquisition fund. Public Works officials here have issued a reminder to citizens that garbage containers must be on the curb by 7 a.m. on collection days to assure pick-up- . In addition, officials are reminding residents of the following restrictions on trash containers: Garbage may be set out in metal, plastic or rubber cans, no larger than 30 gallons and weighing no more than 75 pounds. Bags must be at least two millimeters thick with a capacity of no more than 30 gallons and weighing no more than 50 pounds. Boxes may not exceed four cubic feet and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Tied bundles may not exceed 18 inches in diameter or five feet in length. The weight limit on tied bundles is 75 pounds. Somehow, they always came out okay, though. Now, were faced with the biggest uncertainty ever. This neighborhood needs jobs. This neighborhood needs the education and training to get jobs. Ten free shade trees are being offered to those who become members of the National Arbor Day Foundation during August. The foundation is offering the free trees in an effort to promote fall tree planting across the country. The nonprofit organization will give the trees to those contributing $10 during August. Those trees being given are sugar maple, weeping willow, red oak, green ash, thornless honey locust, pin oak, silver maple, tulip tree, European mountain ash and red trees will maple.
