This term is half over, so we also had midterms. The wrestlers wrestle West Jordan at Kearns beginning at 5:30 Our basketball team is off to a real start this season. The annual Granger high Christmas concert will be presented at 7:30 Wednesday evening, in the school auditorium. All of the schools musical groups will participate, including the jazz ensemble, stage band, wind ensemble and concert band under the direction of Gary Jensen. The mens choir, womens choir, junior choir, concert choir and madrigals will be under the direction of Lynn Tate. STYLING SALON James Thompson will direct the orchestra. A selection of Christmas music ranging from pop to sacred will be included in the program. The evening will conclude with the traditional presentation of O Holy Night and in which the "Hallelujah Chorus, all former members of any of the groups will be invited to join, Mr. SCULPTURED KEARNS. Students involved in clubs at Kearns high are preparing entries for the annual Christmas Tree Lane. Each club will decorate a tree, with judging taking place on Dec. 16. When school ends on Dec. 21, the trees will be donated to nursing homes, hospitals or needy families. A Christmas assembly is scheduled for Dec. 21. Student body officers decorated a tree with the theme Snowflakes and Angels as a donation to the Festival of Trees. A Mistletoe stomp will be held at 8 p m. on Dec. 16, with students from all high schools in Granite district being invited to participate. The cost will be $3 with any high school activity card, or $4 without a card. The dance is being sponsored by student body officers.
