SAVE every coupon, box, label, cap inner seals, tab, etc. SORT these into four groups, Food, Household Aids, Personal Aids, Misc. SPEND those coupons to best advantage. SEND for those cash refunds on a regular basis. I sent for a refund and didnt get it. I did everything right and I still didnt get my refund. Id like to say, first of all, that this has happened and is going to happen to anyone who sends in for a refund. Dont let this discourage you. If we take a typical refund form and look at each segment, we can see each of the ways that a company may refuse to honor a refund request. Below is a sample Two-Stor- y Pjlan Has certificate. To me, it also means that you must buy three different products, not three of the same item and send the POP (proof of purchase) from these. On the certificate, products are listed with a box to check, indicating which four products (of those listed on the certificate) you purchased. is A different four for of the each products required manufactured by the same company. Again, you will note that the certificate is required. The third point is that any size of the product is acceptable. Some refunds call for specific sizes. If you send in a from any size other than the one called for, the company will not honor the refund. , On the back of the certificate is printed Enclosed are three Proofs-of- - . rn IE proof-of-purcha- SECOND FLOOR JANE CARPENTER Purchase from any size of the brands checked on the front of this certificate. I mention this to draw your attention to the fact that it is so important that you read the entire certificate, not just the face, to make sure that you follow exactly all the requirements. If you miss even one, the company has the option to not send your refund. The certificate states that you must complete all the requirements exactly as asked for. Last of all, there is a section on the certificate that reads: PLEASE NOTE THESE ADDITIONAL TERM-S- . This is printed here in all capital letters because that is the way it appears on the certificate, and for good reason. The company wants you to know that these are important, additional qualifications and if they are not met they will refuse your request. On this particular certificate there are seven of these additional rules. Each must be read carefully and followed exactly. Last, be sure the address of the clearing house is printed accurately, completely ancj legibly on your envelope. The same goes for your return address. Dont rely on the companys getting your address from the filled in certificate. Always put your return address on the outside of the envelope, and dont forget the ZIP. This is most important! More refunds have been lost or sent to the wrong recipient because there was no return address on the envelope or because it is not legible. I know we all think we have great penmanship, but just because we can decipher our writing, it does not mean that someone sitting at a computer and going through thousands of requests can read it. If you dont have address stickers, or cannot type, please print. There are very few companies that do not faithfully honor refund request. You do your part, and they will do theirs.
