Show Lakeside Re A new senior KAYSVILLE citizens meal site will be dedicated and ground broken for a elderly apartment complex Wednesday in two separate ceremonies. Norma Matheson, wife of Gov. Scott Matheson, will be the honored guest at both occasions. it Senior Citizen Meal Site Dedication Slated The groundbreaking ceremony at St. Marks Gardens, 200 West 400 North, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Members of the Kaysville City Council and the Davis County Council on Agings Board of Directors are expected to attend along with other local dignitaries. The opening of the Kaysville Meal Site, 34 E. 100 N., has been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. A luncheon for guests and senior citizens will be served at noon at the meal site. The suggested donation is $1 for people over 60, $1.75 for all others. Facilities for serving the meals to the elderly have been provided to the Council on Aging by the City of Kaysville for $1 per year. Besides meals, the Kaysville Meal Site will have bingo, pool, a piano and a ceramics kiln for the entertainment of its patrons. It will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The meal center will be staffed by one paid employee and several volunteers. Between 30 and 35 meals will , be served each day, according to Council on Aging Director Alice Johnson. St. Marks Gar.
