Show Faces on FOX Henry’ pulled up stakes from southern California and migrated east to Utah. A native of southern California, he’s readytotrade in the beach blankets for some skis, andis already scouring those weather mapslooking for the next snowstormtocreate great powderdays on the mountains. Henrystarted out doing sports for KMIR-TVin PalmSprings andbeganfilling in doing the weather there. He got clouds in his head and wound up doing weather at the station full time. Henry’ first trip to Utah was whenhe came forhis interview at FOX 13. “I just fell in love with the place. The natural beautyis spectacular, the people are great, and the weather patterns are a meteorologists dream! Mike Runge, Sports Mike Runge, a veteranofboth Salt Lake City and the FOX News Team, received his degree from the University of Utah. Astint in the U.S. ArmyInfantry during the CubanMissile Crisis convinced himto pursueacareerthat did not requirefiring a gunorsleeping in a tent. Runge spent twentyyearsin radio, as well as working as the announcer for the Salt Lake Eagles hockey team, Salt Lake Gulls and Trappers, andseveral of the University of Utah sports teams. Runge was working as the General Manager for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles whenhe paid a visit to KSTU FOX 13. “I heard that FOX was goingtostart a news department, and | wanted to make sure they knewthere was a hockey teamin town,” says Runge.
