He was born Dec. 13, 1942 at Gallup, N.M., the son of Paula and Eugene Sanchez. He lived in East Carbon City for most of his life with his family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He worked at Kaiser Steel, was a member of the UMWA, a veteran of the armed services and was a member of the Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Parish. Treat, our dear mother and grandmother, departed from her loved ones on Jan. 19, 1994. She passed away suddenly at her home in Price. She was bom Sept. 22, 1900 to Catherine Lytle and John Fari-koin Lead City, S.D. She married Wallace N. Treat Sr. on Feb. 11, 1921 in Thermopolis, Wyo. Irene lived a long life caring deeply for her family and friends, as they were her first priority in life. Irene was a member of the national American Gold Star Mothers, Washingtom D.C., Salt Lake Chapter. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Price and a longtime member of the Price United Methodist Church. She was bom Nov. 5, 1917 in Gallina, N.M., the daughter of Fulgencio and Atililanita Jaquez Sanchez. She married Jacobo Jaquez on Jan. 5, 1942 in Tierra Amarilla, N.M. He died July 2, 1963. She was a member of the Spanish Assembly of God Church and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life serving God and her family. She is survived by five sons and one daughter, Fernando, Price; Jacob, Salt Lake City; Toby, Lawrence, Kan.; Eugene, East Carbon; Jerry, East Carbon; Ester Velasquez, Espanla, N.M.; 23 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Adelina Chacon, Gallina, N.M.
