| Show CHOIR SOCIAL th the first ward choir held a social in the ward hall last monday evening which was one of the most joyous occasions ot of the season it if the reports that come to us are true and we doubt not that they are the first ward choir has the reputation of 0 be ing splendid enter entertainers gainers and promoters of 0 good cheer A couple of the games of the evening deserve special notice A bundle of twine with several loose ends was given to the crowd to unravel those who got hold of the same string became partners when they finally met which led to many comical situations dura during the progress of the game A prize contest was conducted in the making of doll dresses mr nels jenson secured the arst first prize for the best dress and mr adolph reeder ot of the third ward got the booby prize we are not greatly surprised sur prized at dolpha lack in the intricacies sf if ao doll 06 clothing thing but buc we aare cr to note mr bensons Jen sons remarkable retention of that knowledge it has been a good many years since he had any practical dealings with doll clothes all we can say Is that his victory of the other night speaks well tor for his memory |
