Seed Exhibit in Idaho American Ends Ends With Banquet; Over Hundred Attend Tour in France JEROME, Idaho Special to Ths Tribune. nine- JEROME, Idaho. Vocational students of Aberdeen won first place in general judging events over ten com petitors at the nineteenth annual seed show Friday. Aberdeen, Filer, Burley, Twin Falls, Boise, Firth. Jerome, Gooding. Ru pert and Grace were the ranking list teenth annual slate seed show wa history Saturday, and scores of delegates who attended the banquet Friday night,' closing event of the exhibition, were en route to their homes. Nearly 100 delegates attended the banquet. Speakers at the final function were W. D. Vincent, state commissioner of education, who discussed "The Place of Agriculture In the Idaho Educational System," and Byron Def whose address was centered on "Idaho's Place In American History." Asher B. Wilson of Twin Palls was toastmaster. sesDiscussion during the two-dsions centered about Improving farm crops and fighting crop pests and diseases. Speakers Included R. E. Brossard, Twin Falls county agent; W. H. Pierce of the Moscow experiment station; C. R. Detwiler, Twin Falls, manager of the Southern Idaho Bean Growers' association; Douglas Scalley, Idaho Falls, manager of the Utah-Idah- o Sugar company; R. W. Haegele of the entomological field station at Parma; A. E. McClymonds, superintendent of the Aberdeen experiment station, and H. W.
