I The Food Ranch Bestway grocery store in Orangeville has been serving the needs of tourists and Emery County residents for 18 years under the own- ership of Drew and Valerie LeRoy and people really see the difference from shopping here and somewhere else. e In addition to food items, the grocery store offers a wide variety of goods and services with the emphasis on service. There are new scanners on board to speed up the checkout stand. Drew boasts that no one leaves the store pushing their own cart He is serious about service. Goods and services available at Food Ranch include gasoline, diesel, propane, sportinggoods, hardware items along with tack and vet supplies. The deli, bakery, meats and produce departments have all been recently remodeled and upgraded. They now serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with two entrees available during the week and three on weekends. There is also a $2 luncheon special called the Spartan Special that is worth the trip to the store. There is also a full line of Salt City Candles available at the store. The owners transformed a horse barn of approximately 3,000 square feet into a grocery store in 195 1. After doubling the size of the business in 1986, the LeRoys completely remodeled the building in 1996 and expanded the facility to nearly three times the size of the original store. ' The remodeling and expansion project consisted of increasing every segment of the existing business as well as addinga deli and openings sporting goods store upstairs in the building. There are over 20,000 items offered at the store with many weekly specials advertised in their weekly flyer. The store is located on East Highway 29.
