Show Sunday, November Musical Groups Combine for 19-2- 0, works. The concerts both evenings will begin at 8:15 pjn. in the de Jong Concert Kail of Harris Fine Arts Center. Dr. John R. Halliday will conduct the groups in the Utah premiere of Hodie by ihe late English composer Ralph Vaughn Williams. Dr. Ralph G. Laycock will conduct the world premiere of Dies Ultima by the contemporary composer Vaclav Nelybel. The Hodie, a Christmas Cantata for soprano, tenor, and baritone soloists, chorus and orchestra, had its first performance at a Three Choirs in Festival Worchester, England, on Sept 8, 1954. Terry McCombs, tenor, and Mark Hopkins, baritone, will sing solo parts both evenings. Linda Malquist will sing the soprano role Thursday and Coleen Eades on Friday. Czech-Americ- Children's Theatre To Open After intermission the choir and orchestra will be joined by several additional groups for the Nelybel work, commissioned by Radio Zurich but unperformed until now.
