A member of the Eighth Ward Cub Kris Charles Gaisford, the son of and Becky Gaisford, Charles received his Arrow of Light Award in a recent ceremony. Kris lived in American Fork until last year when he and his family moved to Lehi. He has been active in sports, especially archery, baseball, i Scouting Program, Russell is in the fifth grade at Sego Lily Elementary School. Guests were seated a beautifully decorated tables, each featuring an attractive holiday motif. Shining silverware, china and crystal table settings were provided for each person attending. The new floor has been laid in eight " squares, with the coloring material mixed right into the concrete compound. The new building will be ready for use about the middle of January, according to Leland Price, .'.., " A bazaar will be held in the Lehi First Ward hall Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m., sponsored by the ward Relief Society, officers of the organization announce. Many articles of handwork will be placed on sale including large items such as quilts and many smaller articles including a good selection of stuffed toys. Members Junior of the Choir will hold Lehi Stake a rehearsal Sunday afternoon December 9, at 2 p.m., it is announced by Mrs. Alta Webb, director. A full attendance is desired. A motion picture on Tuberculosis will be shown in Lehi Friday in the high school auditorium. It is sponsored jointly by the Lehi Home Nursing Auxiliary. The film will be shown by Eldon Harding of the high school faculty and musical numbers will be furnished by Mrs. Grace Morgan on her ukelin. The Lehi High School orchestra, under the direction of Frank W. Shaw, are bringing to music lovers s of Lehi a string trio, The Britt Trio, Monday evening, Feb. 8, in the tabernacle, Mr. Shaw announces. He has received his overseas assignment before being granted leave, and returning to his base several days after his division had shipped out. A member of the deck force, he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Bates. navy. Ft l A Western Barn Dance, sponsored by the Lehi Riding Club, will be held Friday, at 9 p.m. at the high school gymnasium with music by Howard Nelson's orchestra, it is announced by Elliott Smith, general chairman. One of the highlights will be a drawing for lots of prizes donated by local merchants. Proceeds of the dance will be used toward the purchase of uniforms and equipment for the Lehi Riding club. Petty Officer Donald Coates of the U.S. Navy telephones his wife, the former Mae Grace, Informing her that he is enroute home after overseas duty on Okinawa the last eight months, and expects to arrive home this week.
