William T. Blankenship, 2. 2952nd Combat Logistics Support Squadron, was named a Distinguished Graduate. He was one of 13 students so honored from the 133 attendees. To become a Distinguished Graduate, Sergeant Blankenship was in the top 10 percent of the class. The recognition was based on overall performance, with consideration given to personal conduct, appearance, bearing, dependability, initiative and scholastic ability. Other base NCOs who graduated were Mark C. Bingham, Field Training Detachment 533, and Eleazar R. Garcia and Robert L. Johnson, both of the 2952nd Combat Logistics Support Squadron. Studies at the MAC NCO Academy are designed to prepare selected NCOs for positions of greater responsibilities by broadening their leadership and managerial capabilities and expanding their perspective of the military, profession. ' NCOA members attend symposium Members of the Beehive Chapter, Noncommissioned Officers' Association, recently attended the NCOA symposium in Colorado Springs, ColoC The one-da- y symposium, held in conjunction with the annual job fair, included workshops and brainstorming sessions with chapter officials throughout Region 3. Delegates also met with Walter W. Krueger, NCOA president. The highlight of the symposium was a banquet at the Peterson AFB NCO Club, with Gen. Robert T. Herres, commander, Air Force Space Command and commander-in-chieNorth American Defense Command, as guest speaker. Delegates attending were SSgt. David Metzger, chairman; MSgt.
