Festival classes will be held at Utah Valley State College, where dancers from 22 companies will be taught by some of the world's premiere pre-miere dance instructors on topics such as dance history, musicality, medicine, nutrition nutri-tion and a variety of other dance-related fields. The festival also provides scouting opportunities for professional dance companies compa-nies as well as scholarship opportunities for the dancers. Each evening during the festival, the companies will present a work from their repertoire. The adjudicator for the festival this year will be Deborah Dobson-Kage, who performed as a soloist with the American Ballet Theater and the Stuttgart Ballet. She was also principal princi-pal dancer with the Geneva Ballet and the Zurich Ballet and was a permanent guest artist with the London Festival Ballet, now known as the English National Ballet. The only ballet company in Utah to be accredited by the organization, Utah Regional Ballet has been designated as an Honor Company of Regional Dance America, having received outstanding accreditation three out of five consecutive years. Utah Regional Ballet has been a member of Regional Dance America since 1985.
