Show March, 2000 ProvoOrem Chamber of Commerce Monthly Newsletter Vendor Space Still Available for Business Expo 2000 Companies and vendors may still secure booths for the Provo Orem Chamber of Commerce annual an-nual Business Expo, which will be held on Friday, April 7 in the ballroom ball-room of the Provo Marriott Hotel. Ho-tel. Over 70 companies and vendors will participate in the Expo, .which drew a crowd of over 3,000 people last year, making it the largest trade show of its kind in Utah County. "The purpose of the Expo is to create awareness and potential customers for business-to-business relations," said Steve Densely, president of the Provo Orem Chamber of Commerce. "One of the greatest ways to create economic development is for people to shop locally." The Expo gives businesses a chance to talk face to face and gives interested buyers hands-on experience with products from businesses. "It's the premier opportunity for Utah County Vendors to introduce in-troduce themselves to new customers," cus-tomers," said Rohn Fullmer, chairman of the Business Expo 2000 committee. Speakers at this year's Expo will give workshops on "Seeking Growth in Emerging Markets," "Hiring and Recruiting," "Corporate "Corpo-rate Small Business Tax Management," Manage-ment," "Leveraging Your Advertising Adver-tising Budget," "Competitive Retirement Re-tirement Plans for Your Company," Com-pany," "Advantages of Leasing or Buying Your Business-owned Assets," As-sets," and a workshop on corporate corpo-rate legal matters.
