Caller D has always been the perfect way for identifying callers before you pick up the phone. Now it's going to be even better. That's because on December 1st, 1995, long distance carriers will pass caller information to your Caller ID unit You will be able to see who's calling from most locations. There will be some calls that will continue to display as "Out of Area' due to technical configurations. i Callers can block information from being passed by pressing 67 (1 167 on rotary phones) before they place the call. This is per call blocking. To unblock a blocked line, for one call only, callers just press 82 (1 182 on rotary phones). Of course, your current blocking capabilities will not change.
