Puppies, in case you dont know, are exceptionally fun and tremendously cute. Few things rank as high as puppies do on the cute scale. We have approximately five border collie-mix puppies right now, but that number could change as puppy and kitten season is almost upon us. Puppies need extra attention, but they make up for it by giving lots of love. Warning: these puppies come equipped with the excruciating excruciat-ing "sad puppy eyes,' guaranteed to strike guilt and warm fuzzy feelings into the hardest of hearts. Our selection selec-tion changes at a mind boggling rate, so if we donl have w hat you're looking look-ing for today, just try us tomorrow. This spring. Summit County 4-H offers something for every (id's interest by Carta Lea State 4-H Activities Coordinator USU Extension Service 4-H is known as the best youth development program in the world. 4-H enables youth to have fun, meet new people, learn new life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, respon-sibility, and set and achieve goals. The 4-H program was founded between 1900 and 1910 to provide local educational clubs for rural youth from ages nine to 19. X Animal Control is having an adop-tathon! adop-tathon! On May 6 and 7, at the Summit County Shelter, we'll be having great activities for people and pets. There will also be discount rabies shots and other vaccines available. This is part of a nationwide nation-wide adoptathon that encourages all people looking for pets to see what shelters have to offer! On June 10, Summit County Animal Control, along with Friends of Animals and Dr. Barbe of Silver Creek Animal Clinic are sponsoring a fun run to help establish the first-ever, first-ever, leash-free dog park in Summit county! It a 2k run for owners and Pets. There will be lots of prizes, food and drink, and games for the kids. Cafl 649-5449 for details on how you can participate. If vou have not been to the shel includes projects for everyone and there are numerous clubs in urban areas that participate in such things as computer programming, recycling, recy-cling, archery, electric projects, public pub-lic speaking and even clowning.
