Park City Lions to host convention at Olympia Spirits rise again By Hal Compton Research historian, P.C.Museum This was the scene a year ago when Lovinia Jensen (portrayed by Nikki Lowry) surrounded by her children (Park City Girl Scouts) sat by her grave in the Glenwood Cemetery and told of the tragic death of her husband Julius and her own death three months later. This year's version of "Halloween in the Glenwood" will feature Lowry as the spirit of Elizabeth Scully, a very different kind of woman of old Park City. Joining Lowry will be other spirits from the past played by Sydney Reed, Katherine Henney, Greg Balch, Van Martin, Richard Scott, Hal Compton, Joanna Chames, Beth Schneider, Paul Schneider and the Park City Girl Scouts. You can see the spirits and hear their stories on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1-3 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery. The event is the old cemetery's annual fundraiser, and although admission is not charged, generous donations are encouraged. All proceeds are used for maintenance and restoration o the cemetery.
