The Knight's Quest, our school accreditation program, and the wheel of fortune are all ways in which Mr. Kelepolo has made our school a better place. The Knight's Quest is a program that first period teachers have been working work-ing on every morning. "It teaches students basic social so-cial skills and can create a learning environment in which students can reach their full potential," says Mr. Kelepolo. As our principal, Mr. Kelepolo says that he most enjoys interacting with students and the camaraderie camara-derie that they can share. Our school has a very supportive sup-portive and friendly atmosphere.. atmo-sphere.. Two Springville junior high teachers, Miss Jolley . and Mrs. Cunningham, got 'two tickets each for the party, but Mrs. Jolley did not have anyone to go with her. So she had an "I love Edward" contest to see who could write the best love letter to Edward. All Jr. High students were invited to participate. Whomever won would get to go to the party and get a prize, too Miss Jolly and three other teachers read all the letters. They chose the winner, Jennifer Luther. She got to go see author Stephanie Meyer, get her book signed, and go to the party. I never thought that I would win a writing contest. Winning the contest con-test itself was an honor but in addition to that I got to go meet Stephenie Meyer. When I first got there I felt very special because in the elevator there was a framed sign that said Love Edward' Party, February 2! "I quickly learned that Stephenie is a very "down to earth" person, and when you talk to her you feel like you've known each other for life. As the night progressed pro-gressed everybody was having a blast with the games they planned for us. Even reading my letter to Edward wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There was such a comfortable feeling there because you knew everyone there loved Edward just as much as you, so there was nothing to be worried about.
