The purpose of the tournament tour-nament is to raise money for the students in Nebo School District. The district dis-trict is currently one of the fastest growing districts in the state of Utah, with an increase of approximately 1,000 new students each year. One hundred percent per-cent of the money raised through the golf tournament tourna-ment will directly benefit students. Some of the projects that have been funded in the past include books for classrooms, calculators, instruments for band and orchestra classes, science equipment, supplemental reading books, computer hardware and software, math visual aids and music for choral classes. Not only will your donations greatly supplement and enhance the education of students, your contributions to the Nebo Education Founda tion are tax deductible. It may seem that April 12 is a little early for a golf tournament, but there is no better time than now to work on your game, even if it could be a little chilly. They intend to go forward with their plans regardless of the weather conditions. Games, contests, prizes and food will make your golf outing enjoyable. Plan to bring extra money for mulligans. Bob Casper will be the celebrity golf pro and he will sponsor a Beat the Pro contest.
