Ellis April 28 temple wedding to join Jones and Ellis Richard and Wanda Jones announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their daughter, Melissa, to Gregory Duane Ellis, son of Len and Elaine Ellis of Novato, Calif. Melissa is a graduate of Uintah High School and is currently attending attend-ing Brigham Young University. Greg served a two-year LDS mission mis-sion to Rome, Italy and is a gradu Uintah FFA chapter presents awards The Uintah FFA chapter held its annual awards banquet April 22 with entertainment provided by Dick U fiord and his cowboy poetry and songs. The banquet began with a pot luck dinner provided by the chapter members and parents and dessert provided by Nikkie llascall and Brooke Holmes. The first level of award is the Grccnhand Degree. Twins celebrate Marie Corless Lee and Maurine Corless Richins will be the guests of honor at an open house hosted by their children and Bill Richins. The celebration is to highlight their 80th birthday and will be held Saturday, April 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vernal Sixth and Seventh Ward Chapel, 850 West 100 North in Vernal. The twins were bom to Arthur Patten Corless and Dora Elizabeth Prcccc on May 6, 1914 in Vernal. Since that time they have accomplished accom-plished much and have overcome many of life's trials. Both women are active and enjoy a number of activities including gardening. Up until just a few years ago, each of them enjoyed painting houses and buildings. They arc also known for their skills in quilling as well as other hobbies. Marie and Maurine have been close all their lives. Their mother even had to place a mark on them so she could tell the two apart Marie married Glenn Lee in 1933. They raised eight children, six of whom are still living. They are: Dennis, Art, Morgan, Larry, George and Dale Lee. Maurine married Lowell Jacobscn in 193S. He passed away of tularemia tu-laremia fever in 1942. Three years later she married Henry Thomas (Harry) Chapman in 1945. He passed away in 1949 of blood clots believed to be caused from a previous previ-ous surgery.
