Union jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on three runs by Steve Gingell, Bobby Riding and Wayne Nickel!. Gingell ripped out a homer and Riding slugged a single. Nickell was walked. Uintah rallied in the bottom of the first inning with seven runs on counters by Bart Taylor, Larry Murray, Mur-ray, Greg Jaramillo, Kenny Car-mickle, Car-mickle, Kenny Mohar, Quinn Downard and Todd Mulville for a 7-3 lead. Taylor and Carmickle singled. Murray, Mur-ray, Jaramillo, Mohar and Mulville were walked. Downard reached first base on an error. The Utes were blanked in the top of the second inning, but Duchesne scored one run in the bottom of the second se-cond inning for a 1-0 lead. Turley scored Duchesne's run in the second inning. The Utes scored two runs in the top of the third inning to take a 2-1 lead over the Eagles. Murray and Jaramillo were walked and scored for the Utes. The Eagles were shutout in the bottom of the third as Earl flicd out, Bailey struck out and Norman flicd out. Uintah was blanked in the top of the fourth inning and Duchesne scored two runs for a 3-2 lead over the Uintah Utes in the bottom of the fourth inning. Turley and Lock wood doubled and scored. The Utes gained two runs in the top of the fifth inning to grab a 4 3 lead. Jaramillo and Carmickle were walked walk-ed and both scored. Duchesne tied up the game at 4-4 with one counter in the bottom of the fifth Inning. Norman was walked and scored on a single by Turley. Uintah won the bull game when they scored two runs In the top of the sixth Inning. Taylor and Carmickle stomped on home plate for the Utes. Christensen got on base on an error and scored on a single by Lamb. Oman also singled. The Utes tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the first inning in the ball game with Altamont. Mike Schiller was walked and scored on a single by Murray. Altamont exploded in the top of the second inning with five runs for a 6-1 lead. Walker led off with a homer and Marshall reached first base and scored. Tew doubled and Lamb and Oman singled and scored. Uintah scored one run in the bottom of the second inning to cut Altamont's lead to four runs at 6-2. Todd Mulville got on base on an error and scored for the Utes. An error put Blake Horrocks at first base and Haley singled. Altamont grabbed a 7-2 lead when Allredge scored In the top of the third inning. Allredge was walked and scored on a double by Christensen. The Utes scored three runs in the bottom of the third Inning and sliced Altamont's lead to two runs at 7-5. Tom Winters singled and scored on a double by Greg Jaramillo. Wcldon was walked and both Jarmillo and Weldon crossed home plate. Uintah scored five runs In the bottom bot-tom of the fourth Inning to take a 10 7 lead over the Longhorns. Schiller was walked and scored. Jaramillo got on base on an error and scored. Weldon slugged homer and Carmickle got on base on an error and crossed home plate. Mulville blasted out the second homer in the Inning. Altamont scored one run In the tip of the sixth Inning on a counter by Christensen and lost the game by the score of 10 8.
