Show 4 Seniors' Wendover trip May 22 Varied activities are planned by the Bountiful Golden Years Center for the remainder of May. Monday, May 21, the AARP will hold its monthly meeting at the center. The topic of the meeting is "Have You Heard." How to measure hearing loss will be discussed, as well as how to remedy this problem. The Wendover trip, scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, will be to the Nevada Crossing. The cost will again be $11 with $10 in cash and a $5 meal ticket given to each person on the bus on arrival at Nevada Crossing. Call 295-3479 for reservations. reser-vations. On May 24 the Centerville Academy Acad-emy will present its Children's Program Pro-gram during the lunch hour. The center will be closed Monday, Mon-day, May 28. Sen. Orrin Hatch is again sponsoring spon-soring the Conference for Seniors. It will be held on Wednesday, May, 30, and will be entitled "New Visions Vi-sions on Aging." Anyone needing transportation to this conference is encouraged to call the center. The conference will be held at Little America Hotel, Salt Lake City. Registration fee is $3 and includes in-cludes conference materials and a box lunch. The lunch menu for entrees May 21 to 25 is as follows: Monday, May 21, beef patties; Tuesday, May 22, roast beefgravy. Wednesday, May 23, seafood pie; Thursday, May 24, cook's choice; and Friday, May 25, chicken divangravy. Included with the menu each day are vegetable, dessert, roll and drink. Cost of lunch is by donation based bas-ed on income. Reservations must be made the day before. |
