Viewmont High got off to a bum start when they realized their boys 200 medley had qualified to swim but failed to bring all the swimmers. 4 'We didn't know the relay had qualified and only three of the boys on the relay had qualified to individual in-dividual events so that's all we brought, Bob Jones, the team's advisor explained. But Tim Andrus made up for the confusion, leading Viewmont High to its 16th place finish. On Friday, Andrus moved from 7th to 6th in the 50 freestyle (23.03) finals. Saturday Sat-urday he pulled to 7th in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.48) on Saturday. The girls were not without their share of problems. A Clearfield swimmer failed to show up for her 50 freestyle final, a move which disqualified her from the rest of the meet. While Davis County girls were scarce in the final events, Lancer Trisha Lefferth shone through with her 6th place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.42), leading the ladies to a 14th place finish.
