Joanne Garuccio, 40, of Salt Lake City, was told by track groomer Steve Heksel that she would have to pay to use the track, according to a deputy's report When the woman became "verbally abusive Heksel asked her to leave the property, the report says. When she refused, he called the Teton County Sheriffs Office for assistance. In his report, Deputy Gary Fairhurst said Garuccio grabbed him and told him that was "whatHeskel did to her." The deputy asked her not to touch him but Garuccio grabbed him again "not listening," the report says. Garuccio is a tri athlete and a ski instructor at Utah's Snowbird resort, according to Sheriff Roger Mill ward. She was visiting Jackson Hole with a group of fellow instructors on an exchange program with Jackson Hole Ski Resort. "If she would have communicated that in a civil manner, this probably never would have happened," Millward said. Garuccio was arrested for criminal trespass, booked into the Teton County Jail and released on a $2,000 bond, the report notes. |
