Show JBirave JEtave By RACHEL MABEY As the term draws to a close and we sigh in relief, a day of relaxation allows our minds to file the fantastic fantas-tic activities which have taken place thus far in the school year. Thanks to our hard working senior class officers and committee, Senior Week was fantastic! With pride in the past and faith in the future we formed our destiny, part of which was defeating Viewmont in an incredible football game and advancing to the state playoffs. The STUD organization, Students Stu-dents Together Undermining Drugs, led the BHS studentbody and administration in a successful Red Ribbon Week, in an effort to say "no" to drugs. Mr. Dean led the enormous choir department to new heights as they produced exquisite sounds during their fall concert. These sounds will again be produced tonight at the Regional Choral Festival at Viewmont at 7:30. Congratulations to the girls' volleyball vol-leyball team who again triumphed in defeating East and Woods Cross, in their quest for the region championship. And last good luck to the swim team who have a region meet on Saturday, Nov. 5, at South, and also to the speech and debate team who will be competing com-peting in both the Alta Novice Debate De-bate Tournament and Portia Douglas Doug-las Tournament on Saturday. We hope the memories you are making will be indelible impressions impress-ions on your minds, just as the strong spirit of enthusiasm, support sup-port and unity you have exemplified exempli-fied will be indelible pages of the history of Bountiful High. |
