Z 1 :, .-; . . - . -, --.. rum " n On the 62nd anniversary of her death, Nov. 3, the legendary sharpshooter sharp-shooter Anne Oakley Mozee will again be memorialized in a performance per-formance of "Annie Get Your Gun." The. opening performance will be followed by three others: November 4, 5 and 7. All are at 7:30 p.m. at Viewmont High School. Tickets, at $6 are available at the door. Annie's skill with firearms is legendary. At thirty paces, she shot a dime from between her husband's hus-band's thumb and forefinger with a .22 rifle, and with the same weapon, she could hit two-inch flying balls by sighting them in the shiny surface of a Bowie knife. She toured Europe with Buffalo Bill's show in 1887, and twice gave demonstrations de-monstrations for Queen Victoria. A cast of 60 have fine-tuned their roles, dancing and singing for the Irving Berlin-Fields production under the direction of Margo Beecher of Bountiful. The orchestra orches-tra is directed by David Hunt, Bountiful High School bandmaster. band-master. Margo Beecher's early experiences experi-ences were in church productions. Then she became associated with her brother, Ross Rodgers, Jr., for several years at Promised Valley Playhouse. Jackie Smith Leavitt, who plays "Annie," graduated from Utah State University, Magna Cum Laude in speech education.
