Show In a race, a small fellow ran faster than his rivals and won the contest. The coach noticed that his lips were busy throughout the race, and he wondered why. Taking the boy aside, he asked, ask-ed, "What were you saying when you were running?" "I was praying, sir," came the reply. "What were you saying in your prayers?" asked the coach. Answered the boy, "I was saying, say-ing, 'Lord, lift up my feet, and I'll put them down.' You saw what happened. The Lord and I won." Pray, and do your best; then God will give you His best. A |
