Show Leo C. Parkin x 'It Leo C. Parkin, 92, died June 30, 1988 in Bountiful, after a short illness. ill-ness. Born Dec. 25, 1895 in Woods Cross, to William John Parkin, Jr. and Eliza Burningham. He was married to Algie Hatch for 68 years. She preceded him in death, Jan. 30. 1988. He was a veteran of World War II seeing active duty in France with the famous 307th Infantry 77 Div. parading in New York City after the armistice was signed. Employee Em-ployee of Union Pacific Railway in Salt Lake City when 15 years old. Later employed OUR&D-UP, Ogden from 1922 to 1961 where their four children were raised. He worked for the railroad for 51 years. When he retired they moved to Bountiful. He was an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church serving a Weber Stake mission, ward clerk, and bishop's counselor in Ogden 1 st Ward . Member of Sons of Utah Pioneers. He is survived by one son and three daughters, Leo H. Parkin, Evanston, Wyo.; Mrs. Perc A. (Verda) Reeve, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Robert R. (Maxine) Parker. LEO C. PARKIN Funeral services were held July 5 at the Bountiful 23rd Ward Chapel, with Bishop Wayne Wright officiating. Interment was in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
