A number of people have been on the sick list, including Mr. and Mrs. Neal Gressman, Harold Baker and son Barry, Mr. and Mrs. Don Heslington are renting and have moved into the home owned by the Wells Banks. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nowers 1 left last week-end for Michigan 1 where they will meet their son Dick, who has completed a two-year two-year mission for the L D S Church in that area. Their daughter Nancy has been staying stay-ing with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs. F. D. Williams, during their absence. Mrs. Sherwood received a letter recently from Mrs. Mary Dalton, who has gone to California Cali-fornia to spend the winter, stating stat-ing that her son Walter and Aunt Sissie Lewis were going to spend the week-end with her. i Mr. William Wilden and Mrs. Lou Bohn of Beaver were mar ried at Las Vegas, Nev., recent ly, and are now spending the hojiday season at Redding, Cal. Misses Aldean Marshall and Maxine Marshall were home over the week-end from their studies at the B A C. Mrs. Rema Limb and Mrs. Shirley Marshall arrived home on Tuesday after spending sev-j eral days in Salt Lake City. ' Mr. and Mrs. Kurtt Bohn ar rived home Sunday afternoon from San Diego, Cal., where Kurtt received his honorable ' discharge frqm the army. The Mutual Improvement As sociation Tuesday held an interesting inter-esting program in the recreation hall, directed by Counselor Ross Marshall. A one-act play was directed by leaders Mrs. Loret-i Loret-i ta Banks and Mrs. Louise Mathews. Math-ews. The cast included Leola Mathews, Sandra Davis, Sally I Myers, Alice Adams and LaRee Evans. j .Visiting stake officers from Beaver were Evan Patterson and Evan Nelson. Mr. and Mrs, Stan McKnight spent the week-end at Provo and Salt Lake City on business and shopping. Mr. McKnight was invited to participate in the Soil Censervation program at Provo Friday. Mrs. Amanda E. Nolder left for Salt Lake City Sunday, where she will spend the winter win-ter with her daughter, Mrs. Helen Petty. She will also visit, her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pryor, in Logan. Don K. Gray arrived home recently re-cently to spend 30 days leave with parents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Gray. Mr. Gray entered the armed forces on June 1, 1948, receiving his basic training at San Diego, Cal., and has been engaged in transporting ammunition ammu-nition from the State to battleships battle-ships and air strips in Korea. He has also spent considerable time in Japan and nine months in the Philippines. Don is a graduate of Milford High school. He will return to I duty at Long Beach on Dec. 19. The Primary members and teachers recently honored two of their members, Mrs. Edith Armstrong and Mrs. LaBerta Richardson, at a party at the home of President Mrs. Couella Rollins. Mrs. Armstrong will return to Cedar City to make her home and to join her husband, Mac |
