Show Seconb lUarb By MRS. BETH FISHER Speaking in Sacrament meeting meet-ing on Dec. 9 were two members mem-bers of the Stake High Council. They were Floyd Wood and Charles K. Jameson of Minersville. Miners-ville. Sacrament meeting next Sunday, Sun-day, Dec. 16, will be in the form of a special musical Christmas program presented by the Singing Sing-ing Mothers. Both the First and Second Wards will meet together togeth-er at 7:30 that evening. An invitation in-vitation is extended to all members mem-bers of both wards ,as well as any other persons who might be interested, to? attend and hear this fine program. Members of the Relief Society met at 10:30 on Tuesday morning morn-ing in order to do some quilting. quilt-ing. It has been announced that there will be a Temple excursion excur-sion on Dec. 23 for all Beaver Stake Ward Teachers. There will be a special session at the temple with only members of this stake going through. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher left Monday for St. George, where they will spend several weeks doing temple work. The Second Ward Gleaner class conducted a successful clothing drive last Wednesday, at which time a large amount of good used clothing was collected collect-ed to be sent to needy persons in Korea. The clothing was placed in boxes on porches and was picked up by members of the Gleaner class. The class wishes to thank all those who so generously contributed to the j cause. , All MIA workers are reminded re-minded of the December Stake i Leadership meeting to be held I on Thursday, Dec. 20. All who can do so should make an effort to be in attendance. The Mutual has planned an evening of Christmas entertain-' entertain-' ment to take place on Tuesday, I Dec. 18. There will be no class-I class-I work on that jiight. The eve-l eve-l ning will start off with a spe-. spe-. cially arranged Christmas9 pro-! pro-! gram, after which all those who I care to will go caroling |
