Show Fishing closes November 30 Utah's general fishing season closes Sunday, November 30. Many waters of the state remain re-main open to year-round angling, ang-ling, and some avid anglers will will continue to pursue their sport throughout the winter monthti. Some of the popular year-round year-round waters are: Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Fremont River, Riv-er, Lake Powell, Piute Reser voir, Bear Lake, Utah Lake and Deer Creek Reservoir. Check the proclamation for a list of waters open to year-round year-round angling. The current proclamation remains in effect ef-fect until January 1, 1970. Pleasant Grove there; January 23, Orem here; January 28, Payson there; January 30, Carbon here; February 6, Provo Pro-vo there; February 11, Spanish Span-ish Fork here; February 20, American Fork there. A new ticket policy will be in effect this year at the high school basketball games. There will be no reserved seats, but admission will be had at the door on a first come, first served basis. Parents of players will have reserved for them a section up to 15 minutes prior to game time when it will be opened to anyone. Pre-season games will begin at 7 p.m. with varsity games starting at 8:30. League contests start at 6:15 and 8:00 p.m. |
