Show Jeanette Ullock to be feted at open house Mrs. Jeacette Ullock Locust Grove, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Mr. and Mrs. Ullock have always al-ways prided themselves in a lovely home and garden. Since Mr. Ullock's death on March 26, 1963, Mrs. Ullock has kept her lot beautiful with many varities of flowers and shrubs. She spends time also with her needle point and crocheting. Taking a special interest in political affairs, she has served as registration agent many years arid also as judge of elections. Family members of Mrs. Jeanette Ullock will honor their mother on the occasion of her 75th birthday with an open house Saturday, November 29, from three to seven o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brown, 340 East 800 South. Friends and relatives are invited in-vited to join in the happy occasion oc-casion during this time. They request no gifts. A Springville native, Mrs. Ullock was born on a Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day, November 29, 1894, the daughter of James M. and Nancy Elizabeth Miner Whit-more. Whit-more. The family moved to Eureka in 1905, where Mrs. Ullock attended at-tended schools. She later met Abraham Ullock whom she married May 24, 1916. Mr. Ullock was employed in mill work and as an electrician in Eureka. Later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. While living liv-ing in Eureka, their family of three daughters was born. They include Mrs. Bert (Jean) Brown, Springville; Mrs. C. E. (Moyra) Hopla, Norman, Oklahoma; Okla-homa; Emma Margaret Ullock, Salt Lake City. There are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family moved to Springville Spring-ville in 1923. Mrs. Ullock has always taken an active part in the church and has taught in the Primary organization and been affiliated with the Relief Society in various capacities in the First Ward. She has been a member of the ward choir and Relief Society Singing Mothers Mo-thers many years. At present she is a member of the Camp |
