Show Friday challenge shapes Red Devils meet Roy in hoop opener here here; December 30, West here. Season games this year will find the Devils playing only four home contests. The set-up, which is being strongly objected objec-ted to by basketball fans here as well as school coaches and officials, allows only one game with opponents where previously previous-ly the Nebo teams always had a home and home arrangement as well as the teams in the Alpine Al-pine District. The AA winner will enter the state tournament and all but one team will go into a round robin meet at the end of the season to qualify for the tournament. League games begin January 9, Lehi, here; January 16, Springville's Red Devil cag-ers cag-ers open basketball play Friday Fri-day and Saturday in an invitational invi-tational meet here and at Pay-son. Coach Elliott Jordan, who is in his first year at Springville High School, coming here from coaching in Parowan for the past two years, will have a Herculean task ahead of him to round out a club which has only two lettermen. Marriage, football injuries have claimed lettermen of last year. Lost via these routes are Mike Marshall, Kelly Clements, Lynn Allan.
