Show Sunday reception to open Provo art show by Springville woman Mrs. Inez Chader, talented Springville artist, will hold a one-man show at the Provo City Utility Building, 250 West 800 North during the month of January. In her honor a reception will be held the first day of the show, Sunday, January 5, from three to six p.m. to which the public is cordially invited. On exhibit at the show will be 31 paintings done by Mrs. Chader all of which are encased en-cased in frames hand-done by her husband, Ainer Chader. Most of the art work is that of landscapes painted in various parts of the state, and in Colorado. Colo-rado. Mrs. Chader began her interest inter-est in art during high school years but it was not until 1954 that she seriously began her oil painting with classes taken from various artists of this area. Within three years she held her first show in Provo and since then has held one-man one-man exhibits in Springville, Rancho Cordova, Calif.; Scera Park School, Orem; and Utah County, besides exhibiting in many other shows of the state. Her paintings have won her several prizes. Mrs. Chader has hundreds of paintings of varying sizes throughout the state and other areas, having used her talents for presenting friends with many gift paintings as well as having sold many to art lovers. lov-ers. The Provo exhibit may be viewed daily following the opening op-ening from Sunday, Monday through Friday from eight a.m. to five p.m. throughout the month of January. |
