The boy and girl with the highest number of votes is then awarded the citizen of the week. The students are chopen on good citizenship, behavior, be-havior, and other outstanding qualities. Shauna Wiscomb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wiscomb, Wis-comb, was one of the two chosen cho-sen students this week. Shauna was born March 24, 1954, and has resided in Mapleton all her life. She has one older brother and one older sister, both of whom are married, and one younger brother. Shauna has played the piano for five years and is taking organ lessons which she enjoys very much. One of her favorite pastimes is sewing. She sews most of her own clothing. Shauna is an active ac-tive member of the LDS Church where she is a first year Mia Maid in the MIA organization. or-ganization. She is an "A" student stu-dent and an all around good citizen. She is presently in the ninth grade. Alex Cooksey Alex Cooksey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cooksey, was born March 5, 1954. Alex was chosen cho-sen from the boys to be Citizen of the Week. He has lived all of his life in Springville except for three years during which time the Cooksey family lived in Orem. He has a younger brother, Jeff, and also a pet dog named Peppy. As a hobby, Alex enjoys building models. He has quits a collection of model cars, ships, and airplanes. air-planes. Alex has been active in many sports. He is really an all-around athlete.
