Show Don T. Miner local ASC corarciittee head Don T. Miner has been named nam-ed chairman for Springville and Mapleton ASC community committee for Utah County according ac-cording to an announcement today by Claude Hunting, chairman, Utah County Agricultural Agri-cultural Stabilization and Conservation Con-servation Committee. Elections were held by mail and ballots were tabulated publicly pub-licly by the incumbent ASC county committee at the Utah County ASC office in Provo. Named as vice-chairman is Wallace Harmer with Ermel Jensen, regular member; Paul M. Jensen, first alternate; Len-ard Len-ard Harward, second alternate. The chairman, vice-chairman and third regular member automatically au-tomatically become delegates to the county convention where farmers are elected to fill vacancies va-cancies on the ASC county committee. Alternate committeemen commit-teemen become alternate delegates dele-gates to the convention scheduled sched-uled for October 10 at 9 a.m., at the county office. ASC county and community f a r m e r-committees are in charge of local administration of such national programs as the agricultural conservation program, the cropland adjust- ment piogram, the feed grain program, the wheat program, the national wool program, the sugar program, acreage allotments, allot-ments, commodity loans, and storage facility loans.
