Show Services Friday on coast for former resident Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Melva Porter Por-ter F. Haller, 66, a former resident res-ident and native of Springville, who died in Inglewood, Calif., Monday, May 20, 1968, after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be Friday Fri-day at Lennox LDS Ward, In- glewood and burial will be in Inglewood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Haller was born in Springville, Oct. 17, 1901, a daughter of Andrew L. and J. Ida Boyer Porter. She spent . her early life here and attended schools in this city and at BYU. She married Ronald H. Foster, Fos-ter, June 11, 1927, and they were later divorced. She was married to Earl Lester Haller, July 30, 1946 and the ceremony was later solemnized in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. Surviving besides her husband hus-band are a son and two daughters. daugh-ters. Ronald A. Haller, Provo; Mrs Reldon (Joan) Schlappy and Mrs. Harry (Ranna) Young-; ten grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Mrs. Carl (Trysa) Lo-back, Lo-back, Springville; E. W. Por- ' iter, Provo; Mrs. M. LaVerl Hale, St. Johns, Ariz.; Mrs. Jack D. (Mary) Moore Miami, Arizona. A number of relatives from this area plan to go to California Calif-ornia for the services. |
