Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday, at Kolot Stake House for Doris Taylor Gay, 57, who died at her home Sunday morning, May 19, 1968, after several months illness. ill-ness. Bishop Ralph Snelson of the Eleventh Ward, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, directed di-rected by Wheeler Mortuary. Mrs. Gay was born June 22, 1910 in Springville, a daughter of Jabez and Mary Ruth Taylor. Tay-lor. She was married to William Wil-liam L. Gay, July 12, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Gay was a member of Camp Koda, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and the American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary. Active in the LDS Church, she had been a visiting teacher in the Relief Society and a Mrs. William L. (Doris) Gay, 57, fur whom services were held in the Eleventh Ward. member of the genealogy class in her ward. For a number of years she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Payson Hospital. Surviving are her husband of Springville; two sons, Marvin Mar-vin L. Gay of Lindsborg, Kan., and Ronald M. Gay of Boise, Idaho; two grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Darwin A. Taylor of Spanish Fork and Frank N. Taylor and Mrs. Alta Olsen both of Springville. Wins promotion Arnold W. Christensen, vice president-manager. president-manager. Mr. Brown, a former employee with the Central Bank and Trust Co., in Springville, Spring-ville, has been with the Provo bank two and a half years, serving as operations officer and assistant cashier. |
