Show Lady Lions honor mothers, daughters A lovely dinner party Thursday Thurs-day evening of last week, at Springville Stake House, given by the Lady Lions honored their daughters and mothers. Ninety-eight ladies were in attendance at-tendance and were welcomed by President Jaumta Larabee. A highlight of the evening program was a "Fashion Show of Hats," by Verl D. Thompson Thomp-son of Provo, who provided much interest and humor. She was assisted by Sherry Palfreyman, Pal-freyman, Geneal Crandall and Joy Wimmer and Mary Bird as accompanist. Cello selections were given by Leta Boyer, BYU student who has studied abroad. Mod-era Mod-era tap dance was presented by Robert Stokes, who choreographed choreo-graphed his own numbers. Ida Lewis gave a tribute to daughters daugh-ters and her daughter, Barbara, responded. Grace at the dinner table was offered by Rhea Warren. President Larabee was assis-tted assis-tted in general arrangements by other officers, Ivie Thorpe and Venna Vincent. Tables were beautifully decorated by Klea Curtis, Garneta Dotson and Olive Porter. Each member and guest was presented with a lovely gift at the conclusion of the entertainment. |
