Show Services held at ProYO for former resident Funeral' services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday at Berg Mortuary, Provo, for Maude Harriett Allan Chase, 93, a former for-mer resident of Springville, who died Sunday, April 2, 1967, at Provo. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Chase was born Jan. 17, 1874 in Monroe, Sevier County, a daughter of Joseph W. and Fanny Kindred Allan. She was married to Melvin Charles Chase, Dec. 28,' 1898 in Spring- Vine. .men luaiuas ter solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Chase died June 17, 1930. As a young child she moved with her parents to Springville where she spent her early life. After her marriage they moved mov-ed to Eureka in 1914, and later la-ter to Salt Lake City in 1922. In 1935 she moved to Provo. An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Chase had worked as a Relief Society visiting teacher. She was a member of the DUP Camp Bonneville. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Moss E. Chase of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. John E. (Birdie) Okey of Provo; Pro-vo; five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; four brothers, bro-thers, Bird Allan, Payson; Ray Allan of Murray, and Glenn and Ronald Allan, both of Springville. |
