Show Services held for father of local man Funeral services were held Wednesday at Fountain Green, for William Milton Oldroyd, 70, father of Edgel M. Oldroyd of Springville, who died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1965, in a Salt Lake City hospital, after an extended extend-ed illness. Burial was in the Fountain Green Cemetery. Mr. Oldroyd had been a resident res-ident of Salt Lake City since 1945. He was born in Fountain Green July 29, 1895, a son of John J. and Mary Morgan Oldroyd, and made his home there for many years. He was one of the early wool growers in Sanpete and later mined in the Bingham area. He was a veteran of World War I and served with the American Expeditionary Forces in Siberia. His first wife was La Verne Holman to whom he was married mar-ried in 1920 and later divorced. He was married to Renee Harward in 1956 and later divorced. di-vorced. Surviving are six sons and daughters, 13 grandchildren and six brothers and sisters. I : : |
